I am Melina Giagou, a passionate artist living in Liverpool, UK. My pencil portraits beautifully capture the play of light and shadow, bringing out the delicate details of human expression.  

While studying Classics at Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece, I rediscovered my love for drawing and painting. Although art has been a passion since a young age, my focus on drawing human portraits is a more recent journey. After exploring different fields, I returned to my artistic roots, eventually finding my unique style in black and white portraits. In 2023, I decided to focus exclusively on pencil art, dedicating myself to capturing the depth and emotion of the human face.  

My work is inviting and thoughtful, each pencil stroke tells a story of grace, emotion, and timeless beauty. My art celebrates the simple yet profound moments of life, offering a warm and honest glimpse into the human spirit.
